Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry

Based on the vision of the church from habakkuk 2, the youth ministry at kasr el doubara church aims at building a generation of christ disciples who have hearts filled with love for god.

Different age groups operate harmoniously while maintaining their individual uniqueness so as to achieve that goal.  Youth ministry at kasr el doubara church is divided into four age groups:
Children, junior high, high school and college ministries.

Children ministry meeting is held every friday from 10:30am to 1:00pm.

Junior high meeting is held every friday from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

High school and college students meet in a unified meeting every friday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

Youth ministries also include sub ministries:

Alfa for youth: aims at providing the youth who recently joined church basic facts about the christian faith

Public service: aims at serving the society, outside the church walls, to develop the egyptian society by providing care for orphans, sick and the needy through junior high, high school and college youths.

Onething conference: held in september / october every year to encourage young people to enter into a deeper relationship with god. It is based on the prayer of david in psalm 27:4, "one thing i ask from the lord, this only do i seek: that i may dwell in the house of the lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the lord and to seek him in his temple."

Wadi sports camp (wsc): youth camps held every summer for ages 11-19.

Youth ministry has five core values:

everyone is welcome

we are all one

be real

we change

not for myself
