
OUR CHILDREN
Odette was born and raised in a Christian family. She met Jesus when she was 15 years old that was when she decided to live and dedicate her whole life to Christ. After many years starting to work, God called her in 2011, after she finished her master’s degree to dedicate all that she has learned to the work of the kingdom. Since then, she decided to serve and work in the ministry to serve the Lord and glorify His name.
She is currently the General Manager of Kasr El Dobara Evangelical Church, the largest church in Egypt. It serves Egypt with a network of more than 100 churches in various ministry areas, besides serving the Arab world countries.
Odette has also held various positions since graduating from the Faculty of Commerce with a B.Sc. Business and management in 1995. She had a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) in 2011. She earned a diploma in Mental Health in 2021 from Ain Shams University.
She also studied Leadership Development for Arab Women in the Afro Asian Union for International Law & Dispute Settlement 2020. She is one of the Women ministry leaders called Mary and Elizabeth. She also worked as a program coordinator in a Denmark agency from December 1995 till May 1996, then she worked as an administration manager in the Canadian agency “Women's Initiative Fund Project” till May 2000. She then worked as HR & Administrative manager at “The Egyptian Swiss Development Fund” until September 2009. She then worked as an Executive Manager at “The Council of Service & Development” till 2013. After that she joined Kasr El Dobara Evangelical Church (KDEC) holding the position of “Human resources Manager” till 2021, then she became the Operation Manager of KDEC, the head of 6 departments: Finance, Partnership & Fundraising, Administration, MIS, Hospitality, and Affiliated Ministries.
Odette is married to Eng. Hossam Samir has two children: Rafik, who is 25, and Fady, who is 23 years.
